About
Painting has never been merely a profession for me. I cannot remember a moment when I decided to become an artist. I feel as though I have always drawn.

As a child, I asked my mother to draw paper dolls for me. I would cut them out and create a little world for them. Later, I saw the work of a friend who attended art school. I held it in my hands and felt as if another, enchanted world had opened before me.
I wanted very much to become part of it.
Even when I had to leave art school, I never stopped drawing. I drew in notebook margins, on the last pages, and for school exhibitions. It seemed that my hand was always drawing whenever it found a place.
Later, I studied at a professional art studio and then trained as a conservator of easel and mural painting. I was happy to spend entire days in the studio and stay at the easel until late in the evening.
I remember that feeling after many hours of work, when your feet ache and yet you love it — because you know another day has been filled with creativity. For me, it was an extraordinary happiness.
After more than twenty years of practice, I have understood that painting is not simply what I do.
It is how I see the world.
I think and paint through feeling. I notice light, color, movement, and atmosphere, and I try to find an artistic language for them. Plein-air painting holds a special place in my practice. I love painting directly in nature — being inside the space, feeling the light, the air, the movement, and the constant change of everything around me. In this living contact with nature, I do not simply observe it; I feel as if I become part of what I am painting.

I do not seek merely to depict flowers, the sea, a landscape, or a person. What matters to me is that a painting should be born from a genuine inner state — from emotion, energy, and the feeling of being alive.
It is important to me to leave room in a painting not only for myself, but also for the viewer.
I live through something of my own and place my feelings, energy, and time into the work. But each person comes to a painting with their own experience, memories, and inner world. Inevitably, they find something of their own within it. I like to think that a distinct space arises between a painting and its viewer — a place for feeling and for a personal conversation that can never be repeated.
Moving to France forced me to begin many things again from scratch. A new country, a new language, and the loss of familiar surroundings unsettled even what had been my foundation for many years. I had to search for my place again and find my way back to my own inner strength.
There was a period when my doubts became so overwhelming that I almost stopped painting. But it was then that I understood even more deeply: painting is not something separate from me.
Painting is who I am.
I cannot stop painting. Not because it is always easy, romantic, or clear, but because without painting I gradually lose my sense of being whole.
Today, I continue to work, experiment, and move forward.
I experience this world in my own way. And I turn those feelings into painting.
